From the spirit of the fold
Passing, passing hearts on fire
Gifting wisdom through the wire
Pounding, pounding like a hoof beat
Running, running blistered soul feet
Birthing life from old to new born
Freeing souls between the death torn
She tears the ribbons from the telling
Sears the scars from monsters yelling
Calming screams with hands of softness
Lilting songs of hopeful deafness
Rising rising like a storm
Mother Nature’s child is scorned
Daughter, woman, youthful splendor
